Pre-Owned vs. MotorTrend® Certified — What’s the Difference?
Not every used vehicle qualifies for MotorTrend® Certification — those units go through a higher standard of inspection and come stacked with more benefits. Here’s exactly how the two tiers compare:
MotorTrend® Certified — Every Benefit, Explained
MotorTrend® Certified vehicles at RC Auto Group carry five distinct layers of benefit coverage — all included for 12 months from the date of purchase. Here’s exactly what each one means for you:
MotorTrend Certified Limited Warranty
Every MotorTrend® Certified vehicle comes with a 12-month or 15,000-mile limited warranty — above and beyond any POWER200® powertrain coverage. Ask your RC Auto Group representative for the specific coverage terms on the vehicle you’re considering.
Complimentary Maintenance
12 months of complimentary maintenance is included with every MotorTrend® Certified purchase. Ask our team for details →
5-Benefit Protection Package
The EasyCare® Select Plus package includes the most coveted and valuable benefits they offer. For 12 months, you receive:
→ Road Hazard Tire & Wheel
→ Windshield Repair
→ Cosmetic Wheel Repair
→ Roadside Assistance
→ Paintless Dent Repair
Appearance Protection
EasyCare’s Appearance Protection is designed for real-life use — protecting interior and exterior surfaces against stains and damage for 12 months from purchase. WV roads, WV weather, covered.
Key Replacement & 24/7 Lockout
Key replacement costs can run hundreds of dollars. With KeyCare®, RC Auto Group provides free key replacement for 12 months and covers 24/7 lockout protection and service. One less thing to worry about.
